| Anoka, Ramsey Area Girls Basketball Association |
| About Traveling Basketball |
| Teams of up to 10 players will be formed in grades 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8. A good turnout will justify more than one team per grade. Most tournaments will be held in the Metro Area. There is an average of 1 to 2 tournaments per month. Every effort will be made to provide a position at each skill level. |
| Registrations |
| Registration will be available at the open houses of area Elementary and Middle Schools. |
| Requirements |
|
Girls must live within the Anoka High School attendance boundaries. Girls must be in 3rd thru 8th grade. Details about the association membership requirements and playing up rules can be found in the bylaws section 8.01. |
| Basketball Season |
| The season runs from October through March. Practices are an average of 2 per week with each practice 1 to 2 hours in length. |
| Free Open Gym |
|
Open Gym at Lord of Life from 6:00pm - 8:00pm Mondays: 8-18, 8-25 Wednesdays: 8-20, 8-27 |
| Parent Information Meeting |

Informational Parent Meeting at Fred Moore in the Cafeteria from 7:00pm - 8:00pm

| Try-outs held on |

Try-Outs Thurs. Sept 11th from 6 pm - 9 pm and Sat. the 13th at Fred Moore from 7:30 am to 3:00pm
("times for each grade level will be determined after Thursday evenings tryout session").
It will be mandatory that the girls try out on both practice with the girls running 5 on 5
and 3 on 3 drills. All Potential coaches must be present at Saturday’s tryout date to observe
the girls trying out. |

| Judging the tryouts |
| Three high school coach’s and/or adult players will judge the tryouts. We will also be tabulating the results electronically. |
